• Mid-weight merino, made for layering
• A little sturdier for everyday durability
• Naturally warm and breathable

Acrux's second layer sits between a base layer and your outerwear, using slightly stronger wool for durability without losing merino's warmth or breathability. A dependable mid-layer for cooler months and active days.

Acrux Wool Systems was created to showcase the performance of New Zealand wool through modern garment design and manufacturing. Every Acrux garment is made using 100% New Zealand-grown wool and produced in New Zealand, combining traditional fibre expertise with advanced knitting technology. Their collections range from ultra-soft superfine merino for next-to-skin comfort through to more robust wool garments designed for active outdoor use.

Merino wool is valued for its ability to naturally regulate temperature, helping keep you comfortable in both cool and warm conditions.

Its ultra-fine fibres are soft against the skin, while its breathable structure helps manage moisture and resist odour build-up. Because merino naturally stays fresher for longer, garments often need less washing than synthetic alternatives.

When cleaning is required, gentle care will help preserve the fibre's softness and performance.

Please refer to the care label attached to your garment. Wash in cool water using a wool-safe detergent, either by hand or on a gentle wool cycle. Reshape while damp and dry away from direct heat. Do not tumble dry unless stated on the garment label.
