Relaxed by nature

Linen is woven from the fibres of the flax plant, and its open structure lets air move freely, so it stays cool against the skin in warm weather.

It's strong when wet, softens with each wash and wears in rather than wearing out.

Simple care is all it needs, and the soft creases are part of the look.

Care Instructions

Please refer to the care label attached to your garment. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool water with similar colours. Avoid bleach. Line dry in the shade and shake out while damp to ease creases. Warm iron while slightly damp for a crisper finish.

Women's Body Size Guide (cm)

Order by your body measurements. These are not garment measurements.

Size to order	10	12	14	16
Bust (cm)	89-92	94-97	99-102	106-109

Hips (cm)	99-102	104-107	109-112	116-119

How to measure

Measure yourself rather than a garment. Use a flexible tape measure over underwear, keeping it level and snug but not tight. Sizes are a general guide, and fit may vary from style to style. If you fall between two sizes, order the larger.

Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust while wearing your usual bra.
Waist - Measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest point.
Hips - Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, with your feet together.

Blackstone Lilian Linen Dress

Cool and relaxed

Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant and is valued for its exceptional breathability. Unlike tightly structured fabrics, linen's woven construction allows air to move freely, helping create a cool and comfortable feel against the skin.

Lightweight and relaxed, it's a natural choice for warmer days and easy everyday dressing. Over time, repeated washing softens the fibres, giving linen its well-loved feel while preserving the character that makes it so distinctive.

Cool, comfortable and made to be lived in.

Linen is woven from flax, and the fibre has very little natural stretch or memory, so it folds where it bends and holds that fold. It isn't a fault—it's how linen behaves, and it's part of why the fabric looks the way it does. Hang it straight after washing and the weight of the fabric does most of the work. For a smoother finish, iron while damp on a warm setting.

It does, noticeably. New linen has a crispness that relaxes over the first several washes and keeps easing for years. Line drying helps. Like most natural fibres, linen is at its best when it's been lived in.

Yes. Every product page includes a size guide with detailed measurements for that specific garment, along with a how-to-measure section so you can compare against a piece you already own.
