About Cotton

Breathable

Lightweight

Cotton is breathable, comfortable and easy to wear every day. Its natural fibres make it a dependable choice across the seasons.

Machine washing is suitable for most cotton garments, though care instructions may vary by style. Always refer to the care label attached to your garment.

We dispatch every order from Nelson, New Zealand with tracked delivery, and your local postal service completes the final leg. Delivery times vary by destination, and customs processing can add a few extra days.
Our prices are in New Zealand dollars and don't include New Zealand GST. They also don't include import duties, taxes or handling fees charged in your country. If these apply, they're set by your local authorities and payable by you before or on delivery. If your parcel is genuinely lost in transit, we'll replace or refund it.

If your purchase isn't quite right, you can return it within six months for an exchange, replacement or refund. Simply return it in as-new condition with its original tags and packaging.

Few fibres are as familiar as cotton. Most of us have worn it since childhood, and for good reason. Soft, breathable and comfortable against the skin, it has an ease that makes it one of the world's most widely used natural fibres.

Cotton's appeal lies in its simplicity. Lightweight and versatile, it feels comfortable across a wide range of conditions and suits everything from everyday basics to relaxed weekend wear.

Some fibres make a statement. Cotton simply does its job, exceptionally well.

A little, usually in the first wash and mostly in length. Washing warm rather than hot, and drying flat or on the line, keeps it to a minimum—tumble drying on high causes most of the shrinkage people notice. If you're unsure about a particular item, the composition is listed on the product page, or email sales@nznature.co.nz and we'll check for you.

Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, from seed that hasn't been genetically modified. To wear, it feels much the same as conventional cotton—the difference sits with the soil, the water and the people growing it. Several of our cotton products are certified organic, and the product page will tell you which.

Yes. Every product page includes a size guide with detailed measurements for that specific garment, along with a how-to-measure section so you can compare against a piece you already own. Sizing can vary slightly between styles, so we recommend checking the guide for the item you're looking at rather than assuming your usual size. If you're between sizes or unsure about fit, email sales@nznature.co.nz and our team will help you find the right one.

You can reach our team by emailing sales@nznature.co.nz or calling +64 3 9700 441 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm NZST). We also have a contact form on our website. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one business day.

Yes. You can return an item for exchange within six months of the order date, provided it's unworn, unwashed and in its original condition with tags attached. Fill in the returns form enclosed with your order and send it back to us. Return postage is at your own cost, but we don't charge you postage to send the exchange item out. If the replacement is the same price, it's a straightforward swap. If the values differ, we refund your original payment method and recharge for the new item. If you're not sure which size to go for, email sales@nznature.co.nz with your order number and we'll help you work it out first.
