About

New Zealand artist, Jo Luping, studied printmaking and photography at the Otago Fine Art School, then film-making and design at Wellington’s Victoria University. She established her studio in 1996 and became renowned for her ceramics, which capture New Zealand’s coastal landforms and indigenous flora and fauna. Jo is inspired by the Japanese aesthetic “wabi-sabi”. The characteristics of wabi-sabi aesthetic include simple elegance, intimacy, modesty and suggest a natural process.

We dispatch every order from Nelson, New Zealand with tracked delivery, and your local postal service completes the final leg. Delivery times vary by destination, and customs processing can add a few extra days.
Our prices are in New Zealand dollars and don't include New Zealand GST. They also don't include import duties, taxes or handling fees charged in your country. If these apply, they're set by your local authorities and payable by you before or on delivery. If your parcel is genuinely lost in transit, we'll replace or refund it.

Orders within New Zealand are sent by trusted courier services with full tracking and insurance included. We'll send tracking details as soon as your order leaves us, so you can keep an eye on its progress.
